Hi! At 53 I am finally getting my facelift/necklift. About 5 years ago, I was not quite ready, so I had facetite. I was very happy with the results, but I had a droopy lip for a while. It resolved just like my surgeon said, but now I am wondering what the chances are of that happening again. Maybe it's my age but I seem to be more nervous than usual. Any thoughts?
Answer: Facelift nerves It is possible that a facelift will cause a droopy lip, and if it does happen, it normally resolves with time. It is not a common complication. Having had a droopy lift after facetite does not increase your risk of having a droopy lip again. Yes, I agree, sometimes age makes us more nervous than we were previously.

Answer: Nerve damage is rare following facelift in the right hands It's great to hear you're moving forward with your facelift and neck lift! It's completely normal to feel a bit more nervous this time, especially after your previous experience. As for the droopy lip, it's possible for complications like that to occur again, but the chances can vary based on several factors, including your surgeon's technique, your anatomy, and how your body heals. Discussing your concerns with your surgeon can provide more insight. They can evaluate your previous experiences and explain how they plan to minimize risks this time around. Feeling nervous is natural, but remember that you've already had a successful procedure with FaceTite, and your surgeon will be aware of your history. It can be helpful to ask any questions you have, so you feel more informed and at ease. You're taking a positive step for yourself, and that’s exciting!

Answer: Facial nerve injury risk after facelift Temporary facial weakness can occur after facelift surgery but is very uncommon. It is typically limited to one area of the face on one side. In my opinion this risk is higher with procedures such as facetite as this device is heating tissue around the probe and this can cause collateral damage to tissue near nerves. Find an experienced facelift surgeon and they can give you more specific advice about the risk of temporary facial nerve injury after facelift surgery but this is rare in experience hands. Best. Answer: Facelift Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question make sure to do what your doctor recommends before and after the operation, facelift surgery provides permanence for about 10 to 15 years. It would be better face to face consultation. Best regards;!

Answer: Facelift Nerves Permanent facelift injury after a facelift is exceedingly low. It is not uncommon to have some temporary muscle weakness or paralysis after a facelift. FaceTite is more dangerous than a facelift because you cannot determine where the heat energy is being delivered. This will also make future facelift much more challenging due to thermal injury and the resultant scar formation in the face/neck if those areas were treated.
