I'm about 6 months post facelift and I am still very self concious about my incisions & scars. I'm wondering if my earlobe can be improved upon or if I'm just being too nit picky? I do have concealer on the incision in the after pic because they are still vey red. I have included before and after photos.

Answer: Earlobes after face-lift Thankyou for your query. The appearance of your earlobe, after your face-lift surgery, can certainly be improved. It is a fairly short procedure under local anesthesia. Please discuss this with your surgeon who can help you. All the best!

Answer: Repair of Facelift Earlobe Deformity I presume you have more of a problem with the earlobe that has an "extra" nubbin of skin at its attachment to the side of your cheek. Based on your photo, I think your surgeon should be able to trim that down so that the earlobe joins the side of your cheek like the opposite one. Although the two lobes may never look exactly alike, they should be able to look more similar. It is a simple procedure just using local anesthetic.

Answer: Earlobe repair The attachment of the earlobe is elongated following your surgery. This can easily be corrected with a small procedure under local anesthesia. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon and show him these photos. As far as the scars, these can be improved with a CO2 laser.
