Do you think my post facelift earlobe can be improved? (Photo)

I'm about 6 months post facelift and I am still very self concious about my incisions & scars. I'm wondering if my earlobe can be improved upon or if I'm just being too nit picky? I do have concealer on the incision in the after pic because they are still vey red. I have included before and after photos.

The attachment of the earlobe is elongated following your surgery. This can easily be corrected with a small procedure under local anesthesia. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon and show him these photos. As far as the scars, these can be improved with a CO2 laser.

Thank you for your question and pictures. Yes, the scars can be improved. Time will improve scars specially if they are still red which means they have not completed the remodeling phase of wound healing. Easiest way to improve this scar would be steroid injection into the scar. Other methods are microneedling or laser treatment of the scar. Revision surgery is the last option. I would recommend you to follow up with your surgeon to discuss your options for scar improvement.

I presume you have more of a problem with the earlobe that has an "extra" nubbin of skin at its attachment to the side of your cheek.   Based on your photo, I think your surgeon should be able to trim that down so that the earlobe joins the side of your cheek like the opposite one.  Although the two lobes may never look exactly alike, they should be able to look more similar.  It is a simple procedure just using local anesthetic.

Your earlobe can be improved. It appears that it has been pulled and the incision is sitting slightly in front of the earlobe itself. If you're happy with the facelift result, then a focused procedure called a V to Y advancement can be performed to release and lift and detach the earlobe. This is straight forward and performed in the office under local anesthesia. Best.
