Due to hereditary problems with my teeth and gums I had all my upper teeth extracted and got a top set of dentures at age 35. I've now had my dentures for 6 months and can see a noticeable change in the fullness of my upper lip. In doing some research it appears this is something injectable fillers and/or other lip augmentation may be able to help with. I was wondering what are the possible recommendations in such a situation and what is the general range of costs associated with this?

Answer: Lip Augmentation Nice Option For You carolinagirl103. I appreciate your issue. I would recommend conservative lip augmentation with Hyaluronic Acid, like Juvederm Ultra plus. Another option is fat transfer which is more permanent. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, Good Luck!

Dermal fillers are an excellent method of improving your lip volume and can be tailored/adjusted to best meet your goals. I would advocate for a hyaluronic acid based material such as Juvederm Vollure/Ultra Plus, or Restylane Defyne. Costs will vary but you can anticipate 500-1000+ depending on the amount of filler needed. Hope this helps.
