I am worried why I still have a big nose tip after 3 months of Rhinoplasty? (photos)

While it is not unusual for you to have swelling after three months it appears that your tip may be more swollen than it should be. Not knowing what your surgeon did it might be that you have either scar tissue and or your surgeon left a lot of cartilage . You might see a local surgeon who may provide you with some steroid injections to see if some of the swelling goes down. If not you may require a revision rhinoplasty. 

3 months after rhinoplasty is still too soon to see significant changes to the tip.  The tip being the most dependent anatomic site of the nose is the last area to decrease in swelling.  It is important to have close follow up with your surgeon at this point so that they can guide your recovery process. 

Thank you very much for enquire.It's too early to make value judgments with only 3 months after a rhinoplasty.Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Don't panic, it is still early days at 3 months post op. I think your surgeon has done a reasonable job. The only things you can do to accelerate shrinkage include night taping and perhaps cautious use of steroid injections locally.

Your nose is better after only three months than before surgery. It will continue to improve for 18months. Keep the faith. Good luck. 

Have you compared your before and after photos! You look very good. You are still having tip swelling. If after 6 months you desire revision than consider>>>>>>>>>>>

Dont worry too much. Its too soon for seen final results. Final result takes up tu one year after surgery. I can see difference on your post op pics. You will be much better on a couple of months. Dont think on a revition until you have at least 10 months post op.Best WishesDr Hernandez Pizzoglio

You can still expect to have swelling 3 months after a rhinoplasty.  It takes up to a year for all the swelling to go down.  Also, if your rhinoplasty was an open-approach and tip work was done, you can expect a bit more swelling.  I do recommend that you follow up with your surgeon.
