Question

I peeled my chemical peel off and now my skin is extremely red and tight. Does this mean that my skin is going to peel again, or is this scarring?

Thank you for your picture.  It was unwise to do this.  This may lead to increased pigmentation and possible scarring. I recommend that you go back to your physician immediately for instructions on care at this point.

You are at risk of hyperpigmentation and steps should be taken to reduce the risk. I would recommend a regimen to reduce hyperpigmentation such as the Melarase AM and Melarase PM creams. You may also benefit from Melapeels later on to improve skin complexion. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian MD FACS

There are many options to manage early scar that can develop after a chemical peel.  This may include extra vaseline to reduce skin drying to use of antimetabolites. to control fibroblast proliferation.  This is not something you can manage on your own.
