How do I get rid of tiny bumps after chemical peel? (Photo)

Question

I believe my recent chemical peel wasn't applied correctly. I had one other peel before this one with much better results. All was ok until about 2 days ago I noticed tiny bumps all over my face. After the peel I started using a new mosturizer with spf 30. I forgot to apply the mosturizer on Wednesday while I was in the sun. I am not sure if the bumps are due to the chemical peel, the new product or the sun exposure. What can I do to get rid of the bumps? I applied hydrocortisone will this help?

Your question is missing crucial elements such as what kind of peel you had and when it was done.  But the best thing you can do for yourself is STAY OUT OF THE SUN!  Please stop using the new moisturizer too. It is likely the bumps will resolve on their own.  Please see your doctor who did the peel, and not someone on this forum, if they do not.  Good luck!

question and I am sorry you are having issues following your peel. The first
thing is to connect with your provider and find out what kind of peel you had
done, which is important here. Having a mild acne breakout post-peel is not
uncommon in many patients following a peel. And what was the specific post-peel
skin care you used besides the new moisturizer. The new moisturizer can have
ingredients that you can be having a reaction to, so it is prudent to stop this
as well. We recommend that all of these kinds of procedure, like peels, be
performed in offices of board-certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons and
that the aestheticians there have specific skin care routines that are given
post-peels to minimize any potential adverse events and to maximize the results
of the peels themselves.

The bumps may be due to a number of reasons:1) the moisturizer with SPF 30, it may   be reaction to the chemical ingredients2) the type of peel , it's ingredients and you may be having an allergic reaction3) acne breakouts that sometimes occur after a peel ( not clear by picture)I would use hycortisone only and follow up with your doctor.

I agree with the previous answers and also recommend you should speak to your clinician about your results. However, it cannot be stressed enough to try to limit sun exposure and wear sunscreen daily, reapplying every 4-6 hours if you are active after a chemical peel treatment.
