Lighter chemical peels are probably a better answer to your condition. A physician or experienced skincare professional may be able to help you in an office setting. At home, we would recommend Plato's Dark Scar Corrector and Melapads. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
I suggest going to a cosmetic dermatologist who is specialized in laser and peels. There are many options to decrease redness and speed the healing process. Best, Dr. Emer.
Perineal pigmentation can be corrected with skin lightening creams such as Melarase followed by Melapeels to address pigmentation through exfoliation. Raffy Karamanoukian MD
