I had injections of Juvederm by my Plastic Surgeon in my lips to help straighten my smile. When I smile my upper left lip basically disappears. Now, the right side is doing this. I called the surgeon and she said to wait 2 weeks for the full effect. Is that common? And will my lips actually even out to give me a full normal smile?

Thank you for
your question. It would be safer to wait until 24 hours for the injection sites
to close or until you feel comfortable. Also, you may want to wait until all
bruising and swelling is resolved in 1-2 weeks. If you have any other concerns
please contact your injector. Good Luck!
