Can lip injections fix a crooked smile?

I had injections of Juvederm by my Plastic Surgeon in my lips to help straighten my smile. When I smile my upper left lip basically disappears. Now, the right side is doing this. I called the surgeon and she said to wait 2 weeks for the full effect. Is that common? And will my lips actually even out to give me a full normal smile?

We never use expired products on our patients. Expiration dates are put in place to indicate when a product may start to lose its efficacy. The expiration date doesn't always means it's bad, it just won't be as effective.
