Chiropractic therapy for back pain after breast implant surgery. Is it safe to take such treatment?

Hello doctor, I have undergone breast implant surgery about four months before. The whole surgery went well and I had no health issue related to it other than the issues in the postpartum stage. Now this back pain is killing me but my breasts are not tender. Well, my muscles and incisions are healed. I am thinking about a Chiropractic therapy for back pain and one of my friend mentioned about Erin Mills Optimum Health. Is it safe to take such treatment after the breast implant surgery?

I would recommend you wait until your are 18 or closer to 18. If a psychiatrist were to recommend this sooner than a plastic surgeon may consider it but your better off waiting in my opinion. Best wishes

The submuscular placement does involve dissecting the pectoralis major muscle along its lower chest wall attachments up to the sternal bone, so the muscle is "cut".  Without that the muscle would push the implants superiorly and it may take a while for the implants to settle into their...

The main determination as to whether the implants can be placed through the periareolar incision is the size of your areolae. Therefore, you would need to see a surgeon to determine whether this is possible for you. It is possible to place the implants behind the muscle.

It is difficult to lift your arms up without pain immediately after surgery.  From opening shirts are helpful.

Your description of what you want and don't want is somewhat contradictory.  It sounds like you need to have an additional appointment with your surgeon to discuss the implications of implant size,more existing breast shape and profile on your Postop appearance.

Thank you for your question,  based on your frame, weight , breast size, implant size and profile, it sounds like you are going for a more round, fake augmented look. If that is not what you desire, then you should probably have another inclusion with your surgeon.
