Both are similar products, but Revanesse is a Canadian company and is not available in the US. Juvederm has been around longer, but both will work well for lip augmenation. There are newer versions of fillers than those two products which may feel more natural and be even longer lasting.
Both Juvederm and Revanesse Ultra are nice products for the lips, especially for a younger person. Juvederm has much more safety data and experience in the market place. Make sure to have an expert injector such as a dermatologist treating you to optimize results & safety (& reduced pain/bruising), especially with the lips which are more challenging to improve in a natural way.
Dear SamanthaJones001,Thank you for your clinicalpost. Juvederm Ultra is manufactured byAlergan, a very large publicly traded billion dollar company with extensivedata on safety and advocacy for their Juvederm product line. It is a hyaluronic acid sugar gel with aspecific proprietary crosslink in technology and has been around themarketplace for over 15 years with excellent safety data.Revanesse Ultra is manufactured by aprivate Canadian company called Prollenium. It is also a hyaluronic acid gel, which is manufactured to inject fordeep folds, frozen lines. The problemwith companies like Prollenium is they are small, less regulated and publiclytraded companies and the health and safety data around their product is farless reliable. When selecting a centreselect for the experience of the injector, but also for the product line andportfolio the products that they deploy. It is not that the Prollenium product line is not safe or efficacious itis just a little less known and certainly the company has far less resourcesfor safety and efficacy studies.I’m sure you’ll get an excellentresult and just select the clinic and the products that are injected carefully.I hope this information is of someassistance and best of luck.To find out more, please visit thelink below.R. There are only 2 products that are approved for use in Texas (and the US) that work well for cheek augmentation. They are Juvederm Voluma and Radiesse. Juvederm Ultra is not useful for this. Ravanesse is designed for the same function but is not approved for use in the US. Radiesse is a Calcium...
Wait the necessary two weeks as there is no reason to overdue the hyaluronidase injections. At this point, you should remain conservative. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
I have seen several posts about persistent swelling associated with Versa Revanesse fillers on Realself and as doctors we tend to look at patterns. These patients, including your issue lend towards Versa causing persistent swelling and edema which is not a desired reaction for most patients. I...
Filler can be reversed partially or completely with Vitrase. Consult your doctor about this. Sometimes this may be the result of injecting the filler superficially under the skin where it can cause a bluish reflection in addition to appearing too full.
Facial fillers only temporarily change the volume/wrinkle where it was injected. After the filler gets reabsorbed, your face returns to its pre-treatment state. Filler cannot migrate nor cause skin laxity. I suggest you return to your treating physician for examination.
Yes, you can mix and match the types of fillers used for facial augmentation. This should not pose any issue.
