What should I do about lumps 1 month after filler that won't go away?

If you are unhappy with the bumps, the filler should be dissolved. You can always have the area filled again if you like.

I would follow up with your injecting physician. It may be a lump of filler which can be easily dissolved. If you want to do something on your own first you could try a warm compress and massage. Good luck with your recovery.

I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation.  Many lumps are due to the filler, which can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.  If you do have an infection, it needs to be addressed by your doctor.

That is as long as the material injected was hyaluronic acid like those from the Juvederm line, Restylane or Prollenium. For the most part even calcium hydroxide filler like Radiesse can be resolved. Go back to your injector or go to a new injector and have them evaluate that lump. Maybe it’s worth exploring Hyaluronidase to see if that helps.

A bone infection would be expected to be associated with tenderness, and redness of the overlying skin.  If such a problem was present, you should be antibiotics and have follow up with an ophthalmologist....and preferably an oculoplastics specialist.
Since you do not mention any pain/tenderness, my opinion is that the lump is either due to a clumped amount of filler, or due to a cyst...such as a sebaceous cyst.  To test whether it is clumped filler, a simple injection of a small amount of hyaluronidase (Hylenex, for example) will dissolve some or all of the filler in that spot in a matter of hours or a couple days.  
If that hyaluronidase injection has no effect, then it is more likely a cyst.  Cysts can sometimes be treated with a steroid injection, but this can be risky in some, due to its proximity to the eye.....so I recommend you see an ophthalmologist (or, even better, an oculoplastics specialist), for assessment....as that person may feel it is best addressed with surgical excision.
In summary, based on your account, it is most likely a clump of filler.

Excess filler in any area can be treated with hyaluronidase as long as the filler is made up of hyaluronic acid. Good luck from New York City
