What should I do about lumps 1 month after filler that won't go away?

I had my filler around temple for about 1 month ago. After the filler, there is a lump on top of my eyebrow. My doctor say it’s because of bone infection, he say maybe the needle has poke trough the bone so it gets infection. But it has been 1 month, the lumps is still there, not getting smaller. Can I know what can I do now? Will the lump go always? I’m very worried now! Please help, thanks.

I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation.  Many lumps are due to the filler, which can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.  If you do have an infection, it needs to be addressed by your doctor.

If you are unhappy with the bumps, the filler should be dissolved. You can always have the area filled again if you like.

I would follow up with your injecting physician. It may be a lump of filler which can be easily dissolved. If you want to do something on your own first you could try a warm compress and massage. Good luck with your recovery.

Thank you for your question! Lumps that may remain following injections can be resolved with hyaluronidase. That is as long as the material injected was hyaluronic acid like those from the Juvederm line, Restylane or Prollenium. For the most part even calcium hydroxide filler like Radiesse can be resolved. My suggestion is to go back to your injector and talk about those type of options. Best of luck!

Thankyou for your question. A lump 1 month after filler will not disappear unless you have it dissolved. This can be easily with hyalase .  I suggest you go back to your injector to do this for you.Good luck
