I have read that loss of sensitivity is possible with implants. And I realize that breast augmentation through fat grafting can achieve a limited result regarding the size. However, if the risk of losing sensitivity is out of question, could far grafting be the answer?

Answer: Nipple sensation after fat transfer surgery Thanks for your question and interest in fat transfer. First of all, fat transfer to the breasts works extremely well and is the most natural, minimally -invasive, and longest lasting way to enhance ones breasts. As an expert and pioneer in fat transfer to the breasts, I can say the the risk of having nipple loss afterwards is basically zero. Its such a minimally invasive surgery that injury to the nerve is not really possible. I perform 1000's of cc's of fat each week (never had an issue with numbness) and women do great and love their results (and quick recovery). Best wishes.

Answer: Sensation Good question!Loss of sensation would be unlikely with fat grafting.Another consideration would be an axillary or armpit incision. Sensation to the breast, nipple and areola are usually preserved with an armpit scar. A larger difference could be achieved using an implant vs. fat grafting as well.
