Labiaplasty bumps from stitches. Are they too tight? (photo)

Too early to tell. Yes there are bumps there and you'll have to wait and see in 3-6 months how they all settle down.

It usually takes about 6-8 weeks for stitches to dissolve and the skin to flatten out. You should give yourself a couple months before judging the final outcome of your surgery. 

Bumps or scalloping along labiaplasty scars are a product of crude suturing techniques. At 48 hours, there is too much swelling in your photo to determine anything about bumps due to poor suturing or bumps due to swelling. The only thing I can say is that the area will look much flatter in a few weeks when the swelling resolves.

Thank you for your question. You should rely on your surgeon's evaluation and recommendations at this early junction. It is far too early to either draw any conclusions or develop any concerns. After three to six months, if things are not as you had hoped, please discuss this with your surgeon. Fortunately this part of the body heals quite quickly and you will have a pretty good sense by that time period if the final result is what you had hoped for. Thank you for sharing your picture and question.  Unfortunately with the thin tissues of the labia, post surgical swelling can be significant, distorting what your long-term results will be.  It is normal to have some subtle bumps from stitches placed and these will soften and smooth with time.  Allow yourself at least 6 full weeks of recovery before assessing your results.  

Labiaplasty incisions usually heal the way that they are placed together and will mostly be smooth. Sometimes a bump may form that will eventually resolve during the recovery period because of healing irregularities but your surgeon would be the first person to ask about this. A board certified surgeon who is an expert on labiaplasty is always your best bet to get a great result.

At 48 hours post-op, it is much to early to come to any conclusions about your results.  Normal swelling will distort the appearance of the labia.  Normally these areas settle down and you will look much better after the areas heal.  This can take several months so try to be patient.  Best wishes!

Your stitches are sore. therefore a smooth image is not formed. You will need to invest in revision labiaplasty surgery.
