I am considering customized jaw implants. There seem to be two options, Medpor or Implantech silicone. Some people seem to believe that Medpor gives a more defined look and sharper borders than silicone due to its hardness. Setting aside the amount of facial fat and the design of the jaw implant, could the choice of implant material make a difference?
