What can be done to achieve a more attractive profile? I’m just curious if I’m lacking some forward facial growth and if I could receive some implants (eg chin), without risking getting a longer face (though my chin is relatively small). I’m a female in my late teens, for reference.

Your photograph does demonstrate some recession of your chin.  Augmentation of your chin could be accomplished with a chin implant.  This procedure normally would help to balance the profile.

Your chin does show some recession although that is an aesthetic judgment. Computer imaging should be done to see if some moderate amount of chin augmentation looks better to you.

Without knowing your age, it’s not possible to say if this an age related receding chin or a small chin/mandible that you were born with. In either case you will benefit from an in person consultation with a specialist surgeon. Your options are firstly non surgical chin augmentation and secondly surgical chin augmentation- genioplasty, or chin implant. I often prefer the patient to have a non surgical augmentation with Radiesse and for them to see if they like the result.
