My left side on the nose has a bit more fet on it than the other side. This make my nose look asymmetrical. Can it be because i sleep on my left side only? Is it possble to fix IT without any type of surgery? This is bothering me every time i look myself in the mirror
Answer: Some nasal asymmetries are well-suited for injectable fillers. Many people have small imperfections, or indentations that can cause nasal asymmetries and be distracting. In many instances, microdroplet Silikon 1000 injections may be considered for permanent improvement. Thank you for this question! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Non Surgical Nosejob Candidate-- with Fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Symmetry may be achievable using shrinking medications and/or fillers. Dear anonymous in California: Not likely that the asymmetry is due to the sleep position. Is it possible it can be improved without surgery? Yes. You should definitely have consultation because it may be possible, if the problem is fat, to shrink it. On the other hand, fillers are often used perhaps on the other side to gain some symmetry. But whatever the anatomy is, do have consultation with an experienced nasal surgeon and see what can be done without going to the operating room. One subject that should be raised is whether you are a candidate or not for the non-surgical or filler alternative. There are permanent and temporary fillers now available. For some patients, whether as a substitute for their rhinoplasty or as a practical and economic substitute when a revision rhinoplasty is contemplated, fillers can make great sense. So, ask if fillers might do the job for you. Best wishes, Robert Kotler, MD, FACS Over 4,500 nasal procedures performed

Answer: Non Surgical Nose-job Be sure to discuss with this a specialist, but based on your skin thickness and anatomy, non-surgical nose job or rhinoplasty with facial fillers such as Restylane may be an option to temporarily improve nasal symmetry. Surgery is the gold standard but this may be a great option that lasts about a year. Good luck!!

Answer: Nasal Asymmetry- is non surgical rhinoplasty an option" Hello anonymes, thanks for your question. It is hard to give you a firm answer without looking at pictures or seeing you in person. I believe it is best you seek a consultation from a certified physician in your area who can see you and you can point out what you want fixed. In general, the soft tissue fillers work well for the top of your nose and should be used sparingly in the bottom part of your nose close the rim or top because of the thinness and the risk of affecting the blood supply of that area. Why don't you post some pictures and I will be happy to offer you a better answer This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion. The information provided should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultations with a qualified health professional.
