With the new applicators, treatment time was decreased to 35 minutes. Keep in mind, for best results, a combination approach is needed and some people need more than one treatment with Coolsculpting. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Older CoolSculpting machines used to take about an hour per treatment area. If your doctor was using the new CoolAdvantage, treatment time is only 35 minutes for most areas of the body. At our center, we also offer DualSculpting. This allows us to treat two areas of the body at once, which halves your treatment time. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who has the most up-to-date CoolSculpting applications and is certified by Zeltiq as a CoolSculpting expert.
Thank you for your question, and congratulations on your CoolSculpting treatment! There are a few different types of CoolSculpting applicators that vary in size and treatment time. With the newer CoolAdvantage applicators, treatment time for each area is thirty-five minutes, however if you are using the larger applicator, treatment time increases to forty-five minutes per treatment area. The older style applicators run between forty-five minutes to one hour for one treatment area. The best results, per CoolSculpting experts, come from using the Legacy applicators which have a sixty minute treatment time. If you have any further questions regarding your CoolSculpting treatment I recommend reaching out to your CoolSculpting provider. Best of luck!
The older applicators performed a treatment in an hour. The new Advantage applicators take 35 minutes by increasing the cold and therefore making the treatment stronger and more effective.
Hello, Thank you for your question. The 35minute application is the CoolAdvantage technology. This is the newest treatment from CoolSculpting. It has less bruising, swellig, and discomfort. With improved results! The cup can treat a larger area more effectively. So you got the best CoolSculpting treatment available! Congratulations on your treatment and good luck with your results.
The older CoolSculpting applicators had a treatment time of 1 hour. For the newer applicators, the smaller applicator has a treatment time of 35 minutes and the larger applicator (for the front of the abdomen) has a treatment time of 45 minutes.
The length of your CoolSculpting treatment will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. The latest technology of CoolSculpting can treat a patient in 35 minutes, while some older machines require a treatment period of one hour. Some patients have more than one treatment during the same office visit. We even have multiple CoolSculpting systems and applicators, so it’s possible for a patient to have multiple areas treated at once.
The new handpiece for the flanks is 35 minutes per cycle. This sounds like the treatment you had.
With the new CoolAdvantage technology, treatment time was cut down to 35 minutes, but with the same results. Results can even be seen up to 12-14 weeks post treatment. Most patients opt to get re-treatments in the same area for maximum results of up to 40-50% fat cell reduction. I would suggest seeking a certified CoolSculpting center near you and getting an in-depth consultation. Best of luck!
This is a great question! CoolSculpt offers multiple applicators for treatments. The newest applicators, they are called the Advantage and Advantage Plus, treat areas in 30 minutes. The applicators prior to the newest ones are an hour per treatment area. It is best to consult with a provider to determine what applicator would work best for the areas you want treated. Thank you!
Buffalo humps won’t respond well to CoolSculpting. Liposuction is the best way to eliminate a buffalo hump. Depending on your skin quality, you might need Ultherapy, too, to tighten the skin after the procedure. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who has expertise in removing b...
