Hello everyone I had a donut lift and 500cc implant done almost a year now and my scaring is awful my doctor said I would need a revision and lollipop lift? What should I do? Should I trust my PS? How do I get rid of these horrible scars:( someone pls help.
Answer: Lift Your doughnut lift was not successful and stretched back out. You will need a vertical lift to minimize the stretch on the scar around your areolae. Scar products after surgery can be helpful.

Answer: Donut lift scars It appears that you have suffered some stretching of the scars. A more extensive lift would better distribute the tension and should allow for improvement in the scars. A "lollipop lift" should be adequate. A more definitive opinion would require a formal examination.

Answer: Explant and Bellesoma Lift At this time, I recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Implants are not lifetime devices. 8% fail within the first year and 30% fail within six years. Fat transfers are permanent and incorporated into the body. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Convert to lollipop lift for poor result after bad result from donut lift With large implants such as yours, there is a lot of tension on the scars so a higher risk of the type of result you have. There appears to be a short distance from the areola to the bottom edge of the breast. This can be lengthened by converting to a circumvertical pattern (lollipop lift) which will also allow for better positioning of the nipple and reduce the tension. Downsizing is worth considering too.

Answer: Scar Dear Lonewolf1214, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would need scar revision surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
