I used to be a very small A cup and had my breast done and now I’m a 34B with 275cc very high profile implants. I want to go to a C cup but my doctor says it’s hard to give cup sizes but suggests 375cc-400cc. My mom has 375cc and she’s a D cup but I don’t want to be a D cup. I have a small frame and I’m petite. What cc should I be putting in? I’m just looking to go C cup.
Answer: Breast implant and bra size There is no set implant size for bra cup size. A frequently used estimate is 150cc for each increase in cup size; therefore A to C would be 300cc in the average patient. Not all bras are measured the same way. Usually, when I increase or decrease cup size its at least 100cc change to see results.

Answer: Implant upsize Thank you for your question. For most patients, ~250cc is a cup size. It’s best to undergo 3D imaging to look at increases in size in your anatomy. It’s best to at least increase 100cc to notice a difference.

Answer: Implants size Dear leslie520, Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. when it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Larger implants A cup size is usually 100cc or so. Cup size also varies between bra stores. It also depends upon your starting breast size and measurements to determine what size cc’s, projection, etc will give the results you want. If you are petite, there may be a limit. Sizers during surgery can be helpful. If you’ve had your current implants for several months, they may accommodate a bigger size easier now. Further discussion with your/another plastic surgeon is recommended.
