Corner lip lift with filler?

For a true lip lift you should go to an expert -- randall haworth or ben talei.  But for non invasive treatments we can do fillers with or without botox and get great outcomes.  Dr. Emer.

I feel the best looking filler to treat this corner of the mouth is Belotero.  However, I feel it doesn't last as long (last 3-6 months).  If there is only a slight loss Volbella looks really nice and last longer (up to 1 year) but each syringe only has the amount of Juvederm or Restylane.   If the amount of filler needed is greater, then Restylane or Juvederm ultra may be used.

Thanks for the question and for sharing your experience. Yes, fillers can be used to soften downturned corners of the mouth and to improve marionette lines. I like to start my having the patient open up their mouth and then injecting a small bolus of filler directly into the oral commissure (corner of mouth). I follow this my injecting filler into the marionette lines using either a fanning or cross hatch technique. My preferred fillers for this case are Juvederm UltraPlus, Restylane, Refyne and Defyne. I sometimes will use a cannula to treat the pre jowl sulcus as well. See an experienced injector to discuss your concerns and to come up with an appropriate treatment plan.
