Dear berriesxx,my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Lollipop lift is a relatively easy technique and requires less time to perform and works well in the right patients. Lollipop breast lift would improve the droopiness and areolar position. There are so many subtleties here that you are best to look at results of plastic surgeons. The round, perky, high, tight breasts with superior pole fullness are achieved by few. Another key is longevity; the relative laxity of the skin determines the longevity. Find the plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials (certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, experience, education, favorable patient reviews) who performs hundreds of breast surgeries each year and schedule a consultation. Yes, your plan will give you natural results. The implant selection should be based on a combination of your desired size, soft tissue dynamics, breast base diameter and skin elasticity. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified, Double Fellowship-Trained Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon
Hello,Your breasts are too full and your nipples to low to get a good result from a donut mastopexy. You can use fat to augment your breasts instead of an implant though. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons who specialize in breast surgery. Best of luck!
A donut lift would be inadequate. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
I am not a fan of either of those procrdures. The better choice would be a lollipop type lift and a small implant.
No, you need a vertical lift because of all the excess skin and the distance the breast and nipple must be moved. Fat transfer can be done at a separate time from the lift to add more volume if you like.
Thank you for your photos. You do appear to be a candidate for fat transfer to your breasts with a donut incision around the areola. This will increase your cup size about 1/2 to one full cup size and raise your nipples up to 1cm higher on your chest. It is best to have an in-office examination to demonstrate the degree of change you can expect from these two techniques. Larger increases in size will require multiple stages of fat transfer or implants. Great lifts of the nipple may require extending the scar down the front of the breast. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Research breast sizes/shapes on-line and bring these wish-pics with you to your consultations. Get at least two or three consultations from experienced breast surgeons who will better explain the options available to you. Good luck!
Yes, those are options but a small lift with conservative implants will be more predictable. Be sure to explore all your options with an experienced surgeon.
