Nasal turbinate - is this swelling or will I need a revision? (Photo)

Question

One side of my Nasal passage looks different. Is this enlarged turbinate? Urhinoplasty 5 months ago? Is this swelling or will I need revision. Can this be improved with steroid shot? Or will it go away on its own?

This is not your turbinate (the turbinate is farther in). The swelling is in the area we call the lateral nasal wall. It could be swelling related to surgery (oftentimes if a graft is put there, it can stay swollen for a while).

If your nose looks fine, and you’re not having problem breathing, then I recommend not being too concerned about what the inside of your nostril looks like.
I’m guessing what you’re looking at is the edge of your alar cartridge.
We can’t really make a quality assessment without a proper, intranasal examination, complete set of before and after pictures and a copy of your operative report.
I suggest you follow up with your provider if you have concerns or questions.
