I have lost weight and have been able to maintain the weight I am at for over 6 months without any changes. So now I would like to get my breasts done. I am considering a fat transfer to address the fat in my stomach and increase breast size. I want at least a full cup size if not more. Based on my photos is this a good route? Or should I just get implants? I am currently a 36D

Answer: Fat transfer I tell patients fat transfer is not an exact substitute for implants. It is very difficult to make a person at least 1-2 cup sizes larger with fat alone. What is becoming more common is the hybrid breast augmentation where both implants and fat are used so you get both benefits.

Answer: Fat transfer vs. implants Dear Julidsp12, based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from breast lift. My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity.
