I am interested in BBL with a focus on creating an hourglass defined shape with a more cinched in waist. Not looking for a dramatic massive butt- but more of a cute perky peach to harmonize with my current shape. I am open to 360 Lipo to harvest as much fat as needed. Waist: 26 inches (27 when bloated). Hips: 33 inches Bust: 31/32 inches Video: https://vimeo.com/user117509562/review/427962916/dbdf7bb9f6 See photo desc for more info. Thank you for taking the time to assess my concerns
Answer: BBL candidate Dear SummerJune, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Lipo + BBL Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL). Kind regards

Answer: Petite Asian, 5’1", 100 lbs. Am I a realistic skinny BBL candidate? Thank you for your question and photos. If you were my patient, I would do VASER Hi Def Lipo 360 degrees (abdomen, pubis, anterior and lateral chest wall, full back, lower back fat pad, waist and hips) and fat transfer to the buttocks for shaping and enhancement. This is an advanced technique not only to obtain the most fat for transfer, but also to shape your body into a more feminine, athletic hourglass figure. You do not have fat to spare, so it is imperative you choose the right plastic surgeon for your body sculpting.See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.See attached web reference of a similar patient. She did have a pregnancy, but did not want a tummy tuck.

Answer: Petite Asian, 5’1", 100 lbs. Am I a realistic skinny BBL candidate? Hello, thank you for the question. It seem like you can benefit from a lipo/BBL. I have had great success with BBLs for thinner women, but these surgeries are not easy. Maximal fat must be harvested without creating any contour deformities. If the waist was smaller at one time, the waist can likely be reduced with liposuction to those same measurements or smaller provided the muscular and facial integrity has remained the same. There are a lot of women who can get nice results from the BBL despite thinking that there is not enough fat. Schedule a Skype, or email consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in thin patients to determine available fat stores for the transfer.

Answer: Being a candidate for skinny BBL Gluteal enhancement through a BBL comes for some more by reducing the love handles and actually augmenting the Buttocks. In your case it will be challenging to harvest sufficient fat for a proper BBL but Liposuction of the upper buttocks as it transitions into the love handle and waist will accomplish half of the desired outcome regardless. The question of adding the fat transfer is best determined if you think it’s worthwhile to have the rest of your body treated with Liposuction to harvest more fat. If the goal is to maximize the fat transfer then you should plan on having liposuction of your entire torso, arms and inner thighs. If the Liposuction is done correctly then that isn’t an issue but God for bid you end up with a provider who doesn’t have the skills to do quality Liposuction and you could have multiple areas that are left with problems. My best guess is that liposuction of your torso can contribute 600 mL a fat. Adding your arms can give an additional 250 mL of fat and inner thighs will also add 250 mL of fat. Well then Liposuction could in other words add around 1 L of fat. Estimating how much fat can be harvested and send people is tricky business and those numbers could vary between 600 mL and 1.8 L. A good argument can be made that makes sense to graft anything harvested because any amount is better than nothing. And equally good argument could be made that the greatest improvement will come from Liposuction regardless so there’s no point in extending the areas treated with Liposuction. That is almost always the case when it comes to cosmetic surgery the only variable and the most important one is finding the most talented plastic surgeon in your area class extensive experience and skill and Siter. Once you find the right provider he or she will steer you through the process and come up with a plan that is ideal for you. Results vary wildly so they recommend having multiple consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons who have a solid reputation plenty of experience with this procedure. I recommend starting with five consultations meeting each provider in person. During the consultation ask the provider to show as many before and after pictures but they have. you don’t want to just see impressive single outcomes but you’re trying to educate yourself as to the experience in number of cases this provider has actually completed experienced provider should be able to show you 30-50 sets of before and after pictures. Ask the provider to pictures including desirable outcomes. It’s also worth asking if the provider will show you 10 consecutive results like the 10 last BBL’s done six months ago(it takes time to get after pictures) Read reviews on various phycisian review websites. Organic nonmanipulated reviews sent a fall with a fairly equal distribution among the various review websites. Excessive number of positive reviews on a single website shows evidence of review manipulation. Confirm after pictures are always taken at least three months from the date of the procedure. Early postop pictures highly misleading and I’m not at all representative a final results when it comes to fat transfer procedures. While positive reviews are reassuring I find reading the negative reviews to be more informative and telling the provider is. Insist on board certification in plastic surgery. As much as possible stay local and avoid traveling long-distance is for elective surgical procedures. Never commit to surgery during a consultation. Always give yourself 24 hours to think about it and finish all schedule consultations before scheduling for making a commitment. If you follow these recommendations the chance of you having a good outcome and finding the experience overall fulfilling should be high. Your body is in many ways ideal for contouring. You are young you don’t show pregnancy related changes, you have tight skin and the fat distribution that is fairly ideal for manipulation with Liposuction and or fat transfer. Because you’re thin which is a great thing your results will be subtle just like you stated. Patients who look close to perfect don’t need drastic changes in the first place. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
