BBL - when 40% (or whatever the exact percentage is) of the injected fat dies, does it affect your existing (natural) fat?

I am interested in a BBL procedure. I already have enough of a butt that many in my daily life already think I've gotten a BBL, but I want a little more, mainly to change the shape of my booty. I know that not all injected fat survives, so my question is, When some of the newly transferred fat dies overtime, will it affect/ kill/ change the contours of the existing, pre-surgery butt? As in, could I eventually end up with a flatter booty than BEFORE surgery? Thanks.
