Pigmentation left over after breast lift. Is there any treatment to remove this? (Photo)

The pigmentation you are seeing is residual areolar tissue that could not be completely removed during the breast lift. This is not uncommon and fairly easy to treat. The pigmented area can be excised once the tissues have relaxed adequately to allow a repair without excessive tension.

That is left over areolar pigment that was transferred from around the sides of your areolae. Very simple to just cut it out with a minor revision. Don’t feel bad. It’s nit uncommon and very easy to fix

That is not hyperpigmentation. That's the remaining areola that was not removed. This does not represent a surgical error. This can be easily fixed under local anesthesia.

This can be a simple procedure done under local. The area can be excised and closed again, removing the left over areola pigmentation. This can happen when a lift is done and the areolas are too large to completely excise around them.

A scar revision to remove this pigmented skin along the vertical incision can be done under local anesthesia in an office setting. This would be much more successful in treating this than any topical treatments.

You have some areolae tissue left which can be excised. Please go back to your surgeon to discuss this.
