Nipple location, scarring. Am I bottoming out? (Photo)

bottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery.
Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies.
If you are concerned, please check it with your plastic surgeon for reassurance and to further discuss your options and possibility of revision.

Your photos are upside down, but it does appear that your heavy implants are sagging and causing some bottoming out because of the weight. Please wear a good supporting bra.

Your breasts are healing well and although some of the scars have widened, it is not out of the norm.
Your breasts have bottom out a bit and the nipple/areola have settled higher than I like to see.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, the distance from the nipples to the fold beneath the breasts appears increased, there is loss of superior pole breast volume, the nipples ride high on the breast mound, and there is minimal-moderate sag. The scars are not yet fully mature as they are still somewhat red.You may be a potential candidate for a revisional infraareolar mastopexy. 15% of cosmetic surgeries may benefit through secondary revision. Bottoming out occurs if the supporting tissues are weak or if the implants are large.Revisit your plastic surgeon.Best wishes...
