My nose is very long and droops down, and from my front view you can't really see my nostrils. When I say nostril-show, I don't mean in an unflattering/exaggerated way. I'm talking about that "turned up" kind of appearance. Basically what I'm asking is, if you have your nose tip lifted, does it also lift your nostrils and make them more visible (from the front)?
Answer: Nostril show With the question you’re asking, the key is to walk the fine line in lifting the nasal tip enough to create an aesthetically pleasing appearance without being excessive and creating too much nostril show. In all likelihood there will be some increased nostril show, but an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon should be able to prevent an unnatural appearance. I recommend in-person consultations with board certified facial plastic or plastic surgeons who can discuss their expectations with you.

Answer: Closed and Atraumatic Technique in Rhinoplasty Hello,Thank you for your question. Based on your photo you seem to have a bulky tip with a hanging columella. You may benefit from the reduction of your nose and refinement of a tip. The ideal nasolabial angle for female is believed to be 110 degrees, but certainly it has be calculated for each patient in particular. There will be a certain amount of nostril show, the tip should be located in a proper way so that it won't drop in the future. Depending on the realistic expectations a beautiful and natural looking nose, that suits your face can be achieved by the help of the Closed and Atraumatic Rhinoplasty, which minimizes swelling and bruises, maximizes healing and prevents tissue damage. Answer: When your nose tip is lifted does it create more nostril-show from the front? Thank you for your question. I agree with your assessment, and you are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty surgery. I also agree with elevating your tip, but also you do have a hanging columella which I would like to make smaller. My recommendation is to find 2-3 very experienced rhinoplasty surgeons in your area and make sure that you carefully study there photo galleries. Best wishes to you.
