When your nose tip is lifted does it create more nostril-show from the front? (photos)

With the question you’re asking, the key is to walk the fine line in lifting the nasal tip enough to create an aesthetically pleasing appearance without being excessive and creating too much nostril show. In all likelihood there will be some increased nostril show, but an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon should be able to prevent an unnatural appearance. Thank you for your question.  I agree with your assessment, and you are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty surgery.  I also agree with elevating your tip, but also you do have a hanging columella which I would like to make smaller.  My recommendation is to find 2-3 very experienced rhinoplasty surgeons in your area and make sure that you carefully study there photo galleries. With a rhinoplasty like yours, it is preferable to raise the tip a little.  However, the tip often tends to drop back down over the next several months.  I think it is unlikely that your nose would be raised too much because it would tend to drop back down.

A careful surgeon will point out what the results of a surgery are likely to be.  If the nose is shortened, the lip nose distance will appear increased, and nostril show must be weighed with a pleasing side angle of the nose.  These features are unique to each patient.As with any other facial surgery, balance and harmony are important!

Rhinoplasty requires exceptional skill on behalf of the surgeon and great communication with the patient about realistic goals and expectations.

Hello,Rotation of the top upwards should have a pleasing amount of nostril show. There are many ways to achieve this goal, but they are all either based on tissue removal or tissue fixation. The latter is more predictable.
