I've developed spider veins in my legs in the past couple of years. I'm a stress eater and have gained a lot of weight, to the point of being clinically obese. I am losing the weight slowly with diet and exercise but realistically won't be at a healthy weight until 2018. I hate the way my legs look, but since obesity is associated with production of spider veins, I am wondering if I should lose weight prior to getting sclerotherapy? I'd hate to get treatment and have them come back!
