I'm looking for a doc in London (UK) or Los Angeles area to treat/remove this vein. It has appeared gradually over the past 12 months and looks like a severe scar. It feels indented and hard most of the time but bulges when bending down. I've had CT scan & ultrasound which and there's no bone deformity. What treatments would be appropriate? Have you ever seen a sunken vein before? Docs didn't believe me that it was a vein until I had the scans! It's affecting me mentally so I'd like to fix it :(

Yes, these smaller "thread vessels" are likely telangiectasias and are certainly treatable. If the vessel is too small for treatment with injectable sclerosing agents, it may respond better to treatment with a YAG laser.
