I have green spider veins on my buttocks, how can I remove them? (Photos)

It’s important to distinguish between varicose veins and spider veins when choosing between laser therapy, sclerotherapy, and vein surgery. Consider a full venous reflux initial evaluation with a vein specialist to determine if an underlying venous insufficiency is present. Healthy leg veins contain valves that open and close to help the blood return back to the heart. Using ultrasound to scan the lower extremities including your area of concern, the physician will determine if venous reflux is present. Signs and symptoms of venous reflux are varicose veins, leg or ankle swelling, leg heaviness and fatigue, leg pain, aching or cramping, burning or itching of the skin among other symptoms. Your physician can help you decide what treatment or combination of treatments is best for you according to your specific goals.

Smaller spider veins can easily be targeted with IPL or the Yag laser.   We do these treatments all the time and have a lot of success with them.
For larger veins, sclerotherapy may be needed.  This is a more involved process and requires an experienced practitioner as well.  Your best bet would be to have an initial consultation so that you can get the best recommendation.

The veins posted in the picture can be treated by sclerotherapy which is an office procedure done without the need for anesthesia.  Some times more than one session is necessary.  If you have many veins then one would have to also consider underlying pelvic conjestion.

The veins pictured can easily be treated with sclerotherapy.  This involves injecting a medication designed to get rid of veins.  If you have any pain or discomfort, there could be some underlying issue as well.  An ultrasound or other study could be beneficial.  
Either way, seek an experienced sclerotherapy/ vein doctor for good results.  1-2 sessions may be required.
