Dear mouci,it is hard to tell without an examination. Probably it will not cause any problem but if you are concerned, I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
This should not negatively impact your results. However, if you're concerned, I recommend following up with your Doctor. Keep in mind, you will have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your post and sorry to hear of your fall. Sounds like you are managing your injust appropriately. Be sure to follow-up with your PS for a checkup as well.Sincerely,Dr. Benjamin J. Cousins MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Miami/Miami Beach
Thanks for the great question. As long as you didn't experience any sudden swelling in the area, you're probably fine. If you have any concerns I would follow up with your surgeon so they can take a look. Congratulations on your surgery!Best,~Dr. Sieber
probably no harm done unless you had more swelling and bruising from bleeding into the surgical site, which could prolong your recovery. incidently I have only ever had to return 2 cases to surgery following liposuction for hematomas which I deferred for a week and drained by liposuction of the blood. interestingly both were males who had very aggressive liposuction of the pectorals for pseudogynecomastia ( fat ). both had uneventful recoveries.
I would ask your plastic surgeon about garments and the duration of wear, because each plastic surgeon will have a different protocol. The patients who tend to have healing issues with larger volume liposuction procedures tend to be the ones who do not wear the compression garments at all, we...
Sorry that you are still experiencing pain and discomfort. Cool sculpting won't solve the pain issue. Usually the pain is nerve-related and caused by the disruption of the nerves to the skin. This usually resolves within a year. Sometimes massage will help "desensitize" those areas while it's...
The best way to ensure a beautiful outcome to your liposuction is to choose the right dermatologic surgeon. Sitting won’t affect your results. However, it’s always good to take a break every hour or so to let your body stretch — that’s for anyone who sits all day. You may also want to conside...
Cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery ...
Liposuction can sculpt the abdomen, flanks, and waist to improve definition and body shape. The goal of liposuction is to remove fat in those areas which accumulate despite diet and exercise, thus recalibrating the fat stores in a more favorable fashion. The fat will not move, but gains in we...
The answer would depend upon how long ago you had surgery. If your surgery was within the last 3 months, what you describing may be normal. If you had surgery a year ago, you should discuss these concerns with your plastic surgeon because you may need additional liposuction to...
