Has anyone heard of multiple lipomas occurring on the forehead? I am concerned that I will need multiple incisions.

Question

I had a lipoma removed from my forehead and the doctor said it was more gangly in appearance that encapsulated. Now I have at least two more on my forehead above my eyebrows. Could these all be one stringy lipoma? I am afraid of multiple incisions/scarring. Is frequent liposuction something that could be a consideration? I hope I could get a good photo. The angle/light makes it difficult to pick up the lumps. THANK YOU! Any info/thoughts would be so greatly appreciated.

Thank you for sharing your question.  Multiple lipomas can develop in the forehead but are rarely connected.  The best treatment at reducing the risk of recurrence is through surgical excision using small, well-concealed incisions.  Hope this helps.

I have removed many lipomas from forehead  on many patients.   First step is to have correct diagnosis and then formulate proper treatment.
