5'7, 138lbs, would I get good results from butt implants? (Photos)

Thanks for posting your pictures and your goal pictures. Butt implant are your only option to achieve your butt size goal. BBL disappears after few months or even sooner. I am a board certified plastic surgeon and have been in practice for over 35 years. I have performed butt implants surgery on well over 800 patients and about 300 of them had BBL before having butt implants surgery with me. Obviously, the fat disappeared. Think about it this way. If large amount of fat injection was consistent and reliable , most women would have used it for breasts augmentation over breasts implants, however the reality is that breasts implants are the number one cosmetic surgery in the US...
Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who perform large numbers of butt implants in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with one incision between the cheeks.

Allow me to answer your question as best i can based upon your photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made.

Your are quite lean so BBL, even “skinny BBL”, is not a good option. Indeed yes, buttock buttock +/- cosmetic hip implants are your best option, providing a relatively safe, predictable AND permanent option for buttock/hip augmentation.  Please note that an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock or hip implants, so you may need to travel far and away from home to find this particular surgeon. Thanks for your question. From your pictures, you seem to be a good candidate for butt implants with fat transfer or a skinny BBL. A BBL includes 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. In addition, if you do not have enough fat in these areas, liposuction can be performed in many other areas of the body for fat transfer to the buttocks, such as the upper arms and chin. Depending on your desired results, you may be asked to gain some weight. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Based on your photos and description, I would steer you towards buttock implants. If you only have 10 pounds extra, a bbl would not give you the results you have pictured as your goal, it would only be possible to get half way to that goal booty with that amount of fat. With that being said, You would need 4 weeks of light duty to properly heal. The incision would be located in the crack of your buttocks so that if you don’t have your cheeks spread, no one would be able to see the incision. It appears that you would be a good candidate for buttock implants, however the exact contour that you desire will be difficult to achieve even with implants. Buttock implant are overall not a common procedure and therefore I would make sure to seek out an experienced surgeon, meaning you may have to travel to find a board certified plastic surgeon who does a high volume of buttock implants. Everyone will have a specific postoperative protocol, but about one month following surgery is normal for weight offloading, meaning this may be the amount of time that you need to take off of work.

Thank you for your question. In order to achieve the results that you posted, you would need a combination of a buttock implant plus fat transplantation. I just performed surgery very similar to yours recently. I performed liposuction of the hips and outer thighs and placed fat in the indentation of the lateral buttock in combination with buttock augmentation with a silicone implant. This procedures termed a "composite" buttock augmentation. You are an excellent candidate for this. Make sure that you seek out only plastic surgeons who have considerable experience with buttock augmentation with implants. Best wishes to you.

Considering that you may need lateral buttock/hip shaping/aug,emtation, it is not likely that buttock implants will do all the job? Combination of fat grafting as a first procedure and , if needed, implant augmenttion, would be my suggestion. Hello! Thanks for your question. I think you will definitely benefit from Butt implants to increase the volume of your buttocks and improve their shape. I will not recommend large implants (more than 400 - 450 cc because the rate of complications may increase such as problems with the wound healing or implants edge being palpable. The implants shape that will be ideal forYou is round so you will be able to increase volume on the sides of your buttocks, too. With The hybrid technique, I also use some fat transferred from some areas where you’d like to have liposuction, to enhance certain areas of the buttocks after the implants have been placed. The implant is placed at two separate levels. It feels more natural under the muscle, although it has less volume. The desired appearance may be achieved above the muscle, but the chance for complications is higher. The 3 inch long incision is positioned between the buttocks and is barely noticed.
