Is it safe to get Stylage lip filler while breastfeeding?

I really was waiting till I give birth to have a lip fillers but I’m wondering if it’s safe while breastfeeding

many of my clients do cosmetic treatments during breast feeding although safety hasn't been established. I suggest lip plumping and hydration daily (see link).  Best, Dr. Emer

There are no studies to determine the safety of dermal fillers during breastfeeding, therefore it is NOT recommended. Although filler is unlikely to penetrate breast milk, the preservatives and additives may pose a risk.

Great questionTechnically there is next to zero chance that lip filler would end up in breast milkHowever there can be complications - including blindness. Also if something unrelated happened to the baby there would be a tendency to blame yourself / what if scenarios. For these reasons i would not recommend it Until you are done breastfeeding
Once done make sure Do you see a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to have this done. Lips are actually very hard to get right. Make sure you look at the staff at the office
