Hello, I let a dermatologist inject 22 units of botox on each side of my masseters and put a little over half a syringe of valuma in my cheeks. Now a month later my face looks older and older and laxity is worse because I'm 40. I'm attaching a before and after pic. I had it done on the 20th of last month. Is my jawline going to keep getting smaller? My cheeks are hollowing, I'm getting a double chin and jowls are worse. I just needed lift not volume. When will jaw fill back in?

Answer: Possible deflation after Botox injection to masseter muscles? It is impossible to comment on your result without good before and after photos to compae. It you need lift and volume, lower face/neck lift, possibly fat grafting, lower eyelid surgery, may be considered. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in face lift and facial rejuvenation, is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: Botox/filler injections It's possible that the changes you're observing in your face could be related to various factors, including the natural aging process, individual anatomy, or the specific techniques used during your treatments. It's also important to consider that it can take some time for the full effects of treatments like Botox or dermal fillers to manifest, and that initial swelling or other temporary changes may occur after the procedure. To address your concerns and discuss the changes you're observing, it's recommended that you schedule a follow-up appointment with your dermatologist. They will be able to evaluate your current condition, review your treatment history, and provide professional guidance based on their expertise and direct assessment of your situation. They may be able to offer additional treatments or adjustments to help achieve your desired outcome. I hope this helps, best of luck !
