Hi. The normal protocol for Emsculpt NEO is 30 minute sessions, every 2-3 todays, over the course of two weeks. Normally we start patients on a lower setting between 25-50% depending on how well they can tolerate the treatment and move them up on the next session as they get stronger. Since you're in better shape you would probably be able to start on a higher percentage and finish closer to 100%. The number of treatments needed really depends on your goals. Throughout the treatment process, your healthcare provider will regularly assess your progress and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan to ensure that you are on track to achieve your desired outcomes safely and effectively. You could finish the initial 6 treatments and move to a maintenance plan with treatments more spread out (one a month), or do another round of 6 treatments like the initial 6.
No, Emsculpt is not recommended for use during pregnancy. The safety of Emsculpt during pregnancy has not been adequately studied, and it is generally advised to avoid undergoing any non-essential cosmetic treatments during pregnancy. During pregnancy, your body undergoes significant physiological changes to support the growth and development of the baby. Introducing external interventions like Emsculpt, which uses high-intensity electromagnetic energy to induce muscle contractions, may not be safe for both the mother and the developing baby.
The results of Emsculpt can vary from person to person. However, it's important to note that noticeable and significant results typically require a series of treatments. For optimal outcomes, most providers recommend a series of 4 to 6 treatments, scheduled 2 to 14 days apart, although some individuals may require more sessions depending on their individual goals and starting muscle tone. Many people start to see visible improvements in muscle tone and definition about 2 to 4 weeks after completing their full treatment course. The results continue to develop and improve for about 3 months after the last session as the muscles continue to grow and strengthen. Remember, individual results may vary based on factors such as your body composition, muscle mass, lifestyle, and adherence to any post-treatment recommendations.
Hi! As long as you have no contraindications and are a suitable candidate for Emsculpt NEO, using it continuously for months is considered safe under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional. Most of our patients move into a Maintenance plan after their initial 4-6 sessions. Continuous use over months should be done with regular intervals between sessions to allow for proper muscle recovery and to avoid overtraining.
Hi! Dermal fillers are injectable substances used to add volume, smooth out wrinkles, and enhance certain features of the face or body. They are typically made of hyaluronic acid or other biocompatible materials. Since Emsculpt and dermal fillers target different tissues (muscles vs. soft tissue), there shouldn't be any direct interaction between the two. However, as with any medical or aesthetic treatment, it is essential to consult with a qualified healthcare provider or aesthetician who can assess your individual case and provide personalized advice.
