I had a breast lift done and 7 months later 500cc under the muscle high profile implants. One side is high, square looking, has an indent. The other side the implant has sagged below the crease, and the nipple is twice the size. What should or can be done to correct this? Please help I feel deformed.
Answer: Revision surgery with additional at graft will bring great results. Thank you for your question. Here is what I would advise in your case. On the side where the implant is raised, it is necessary to widen the inferior side of the pocket to lower the position of the implant, and in the case of the opposite side, it is necessary to raise the position of the implant by narrowing the inferior side pocket. In areas where implant edges are visible, fat grafting should be performed to make them less visible, and if the border is not smooth, capsulotomy may be required. The enlarged areola will be reduced, and additional skin resection may be required for areas where the skin remains.

Answer: Breast lift with implant revision Position of implants and size of areola can be changed with revision breast surgery. Implants can be supported higher if they have dropped below the fold with the assistance of products like the internal bra. Causes of implants sitting high, including capsular contracture can also be addressed. During revision surgery improvements to symmetry of areola size and position can also be performed.

Answer: Revision 500 cc implants weigh 1 lb each and the skin envelope is inadequate to hold up the weight. At this time, you may consider smaller implants or fat transfers. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift You likely need a revision to address these issues. Revisions are not at all uncommon in breast lifts with implants. Tough operation to get right in one stage

Answer: Lift and implants done Dear kylie1985, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
