Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question. It is not possible to make an accurate assessment without submitting your photos.f you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best regards!
Hi @HaileyNicoleRE. I recommend seeing an expert rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are options for you that can be determined after examination. Best of luck,Dr. Nima
Good Afternoon! In my experience, an open rhinoplasty using a structure approach is the most effective. In this technique, we raise the nasal skin through a small incision underneath the nose to expose the cartilage and underlying structure. Cartilage grafts and special suturing are used to help flatten the bulbous structures, thus creating a strong, refined nose. Post-operatively, I have patients tape and I use steroid injections to encourage the skin to "shrink-wrap" around the new, smaller tip. It does take time but the results can be impressive. The cost of rhinoplasty varies regionally but can be anywhere from $4,000 to over $10,000. Hope this helps!
Great question. You will get a variety of answers for the "best" type of rhinoplasty for a bulbous tip, depending on the preferences of the surgeon. There are many other factors, as well, that make you a better or worse candidate for different techniques. Some photographs or an in person examination would be helpful. My personal preference for most cases is an open precision rhinoplasty, because it gives the best visualization and is a very reliable, consistent technique that can be adapted to any nose. Cost will depend a lot on the experience and training of the surgeon, and where geographically the surgery is done. Find a surgeon who has results you like and go in for a consultation!
Thank you for posting your question. Closed rhinoplasty procedures are typically excellent for patients with concerns about scarring and require minimal reshaping and resizing. However, the incision for open rhinoplasty rarely leaves visible scarring if it is performed correctly. More importantly, it is essential to work with an experienced board-certified facial plastic surgeon that can assess your nose and facial features to create a custom procedure plan that results in cohesive features and a natural-looking nose. Your expert physician can recommend an open or closed rhinoplasty based on the types of changes needed.
The type of rhinoplasty done is not nearly as important as who is doing it. It is imperative to find a surgeon that specializes in rhinoplasty. Then look at a lot of his/her photos to see if the work is what you like. Then go in for a consultation and get computer imaging at the same time and see how the connection is. Cost can range, but averages around $10,000
Hello,Thank you for your question. For patients who are complaining about bulbous tip, we recommend regular rhinoplasty where we focus on reducing the cartilage amount and narrowing the nasal tip to streamline the bulbous nose. We use the newest technology called Piezo Technique, therefore your process will ve very comfortable . Pain and swelling will be minimal. Price for this type of a surgery is $3000. This price icludes consultation, surgery, one night hospital stay, all related tests and bloodwork, anesthesiologist visit and medications after the surgery. We do offer transfer and hotel for an extra $500. This includes 5 night hotel stay and all transfers from and to the airport, hospital and our office. We meet with our patients one day before their surgery at our office for the consultation. Total days you need to stay in İstanbul is 6. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Thank you for your question. It really depends on your surgeon, as well as the exact changes you want to be made. Some surgeons prefer an endonasal approach, some an open approach. There are pros and cons to each which you should discuss with your surgeon. The cost will depend on a variety of factors, but in general the more experienced the surgeon and the more expensive the surgeon's practice location, the higher the cost. I hope this is helpful, and I wish you all the best.-Dr. P
Thank you for your question. I think rhinoplasty is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
Dear HaileyNicoleRE,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
