I had a rhinoplasty 4.5 months ago. I overall feel like the result is ok. I don’t hate it, however, I feel like it is a bit too short now. I feel like the Dr. left my nose bridge way too narrow, and the tip of my nose doesn’t balance well with it. I think he broke too much bone off. The other day a person commented on my nose, and said that it looked a bit too small for me. :( Will it balance out over time? should I consider filler for my bridge, once I am 12 months post op?
Answer: Rhinoplasty Don’t listen to what other people say. They don’t mean well and are often trying to throw fuel on the fire. I think your result is quite good. Your tip will likely drop down over the next year. It’s common for the nose to look a little short initially and the tip gradually drop

Answer: What you should know about rhinoplasty recovery Thank you for your question and the photos you provided. Being that your rhinoplasty procedure was less than one year ago, you are still considered to be in the recovery phase. While most swelling dissipated during the first few months, it can take up to a year for it to subside completely. Your nose can continue to change in alignment and shape throughout this recovery process, making it difficult to know if you will find the ultimate results satisfactory. I suggest waiting until the one-year mark following your procedure to decide if further changes are still desired. I also recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon to assess your concerns more individually and directly.

Answer: Too Small of Nose Good Afternoon Lucy! At 4.5 months, there is plenty of time for change to occur. There is still quite a bit of swelling and settling that needs to resolve. You can do filler down the road, but there is upkeep and risk with doing so. If you find the bridge too low, grafting can be added to raise it. In addition, the tip can be restructured. Hope this helps!

Answer: Rhinoplasty Filler It is an absolute requirement to wait at least 1 year after rhinoplasty to make any judgement on the outcome (unless it is absolutely a disaster). The reason for this is because it takes at least 12 months for the swelling to decrease and show the actual contour of the underlying cartilages and bone structure. Additionally, filler into the nose (especially after a rhinoplasty) can be a catastrophe as this can lead to permanent or prolonged swelling and even more devastating complications such as intravascular injection leading to potential tissue death or blindness. I would make sure you see a board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon well trained in rhinoplasty if you do not go back to your original surgeon.

Answer: Revision Rhinoplasty Hello. The reason why your nose looks short is that the angle between the nose and the lip is more than normal. Therefore, the fillers you will have will not change this. In addition, since your chin is larger than normal, your nose should be a little stronger and larger. Your nose is a little small on your face for these reasons. What you need to do is to have it corrected by an experienced surgeon. I’m the only triple board-certified facial plastic surgeon all around Europe. I’m just focused on this issue. I am a doctor who goes to almost every country in the world and explains my techniques to important doctors with the seminar invitations I receive, so I am definitely the only doctor who can perform your operation very comfortably and successfully. You can get more detailed information about me, ask all questions about your case and sending your photos to my assistants at the number on my profile (+90 539 204 40 90). You can also book an online consultation and discuss your problems with me. With all respect.
