I have a lot of sinus issues and lots of congestion issues. My facial plastic surgeon who does my massater Botox told me I would be a good candidate for rhinoplasty due to these issues. But, I do not have a deviated septum. So my question is, is my nose too wide for my face? He said he could give a more “feminine” nose and it would make my features look more feminine
Answer: YES- I Recommend Rhinoplasty | Facial Plastic Surgery Expert | Nose Job | Bulbous Tip | Fix Breathing Issues | Beverly Hills LA Hello and thank you for your question and the picture. Addressing the shape of your nose (especially the width and the nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (particularly the bridge and tip)! This truly is a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Rinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question If you can send 2 photos of the front and side profile in better light, it will be possible to make an accurate assessment. It would be better face to face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: If you are not unhappy with your nose, do not do rhinoplasty surgery. Based on your singular photo, your nose does not appear too wide for your face. If you have purely functional concerns about your nose, please consider meeting with a reputable otolaryngologist for evaluation. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: I don't know; you look pretty feminine to me! More ... If you have congestion and sinus issues, that is not at all a reason to have a rhinoplasty. A rhinoplasty is a big undertaking; you have it if there's something that bugs you about the appearance of your nose enough to have you decide to have surgery on it -- not because someone says it would make your face look more feminine. Also, be sure to check out your surgeon well *for a rhinoplasty* before you decide. It's a difficult operation and few surgeons can accomplish it with true expertise.

Answer: Rhinoplasty vs septoplasty... The statement is a little confusing. Rhinoplasty isn't performed for sinus and congestion issues. It's done purely for changing the outside of the nose. So the question is are you not happy with the shape of your nose from the outside. If you think it's too wide, then rhinoplasty can refine the shape and narrow the nose some. Be sure that anyone performing a rhinoplasty on you is highly experienced and has a lot of photos of past work. Also see a surgeon that can do computer imaging at the same time as the consultation to assist in figuring out what you want to do.
