I've always been insecure of my bulbous nose and my ideal nose would be the edited nose in the photo. I plan to have a nose job this summer and while researching I heard that bulbous noses are hard to work with. I was wondering if it's possible to make my nose look like the edited photo

Answer: Possible Yes it is totally possible to get the nose on the edited photo, although without having a full exam of you and more photos, it's hard to say for sure how complicated that would be. Bulbous noses are not particularly harder to work with than non-bulbous ones if you end up going to a good surgeon.

Answer: Nasal tip deprojection Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph and simulation, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. Nasal tip deprojection can also be performed to shorten your tip complex. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G.
