Why aren’t osteotomies required when rasping down a callus post op?

Hello, I have been asking myself this question for the longest time. I saw that some people who get a rhinoplasty can develop a callus post op. This callus can be rasped down with a local anesthesia procedure. Normally when taking down a bump on the nose, osteotomies are done to close the open roof deformity, but why aren’t osteotomies required when rasping down a callus post op? Thank you for your answers.

Answer: Rasping a callus may indeed require osteotomies during rhinoplasty.
In our experience, microdroplets Silikon 1000 nasal injections are an excellent consideration for camouflaging small dorsal nasal bumps. This can lead to a straight nasal profile appearance. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
However, I'm not sure that it is worth undergoing another rhinoplasty surgery. You do not have a long tip, but rather it's over projected, which means it sticks out a drop too far from your face. Perhaps things looked more proportional when you had additional swelling on the bridge of your nose....
Hello! Thank you for your question.
As far as I can understand from your question if you can send two photos of the front and side profile in better light, it will be possible to make a more accurate evaluation.
It would be better face to face consultation.
Best Regards!
