Chin implant with possible ThermiTight RF procedure?

I have a chin implant and I was considering the thermal tight RF procedure on my jowls, is it possible for me to get this procedure done if I have a chin implant. Is it safe and will it work?

Chin implants are typically placed deep and can therefore be easily avoided during the ThermiTight procedure to the jowls with careful mapping of the treatment area.  However, the material of the implant may affect the procedure so best to bring in your medical records from the chin implant so that your dermatologist will have all the information necessary to plan a safe and effective treatment. Dear Sylvia, Yes it is perfectly safe for you to undergo a ThermiTight procedure for tightening your neck and jowls.This is  providing that you have an experienced Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon doing the procedure who is well versed with the face and neck anatomy and also well versed with the different types of chin implants out there. He / she needs to know what kind of implant it is and if it also addresses the pre jowl sulcus or not, so it would be best for you to obtain the operative report of your implant surgery from your chin implant surgeon and provide it to your ThermiTIght surgeon. Then you have all bases covered. You will love your Thermi results !

Thanks for your question. It is possible to undergo ThermiTight for tightening of the jowls and neck area. ThermiTight is effective, and the recommended number of treatments to see results is around three. A consultation would  be necessary to determine if you are good candidate for ThermiTight.

It is safe to perform the ThermiTight procedure on the jowls if you have a chin implant. The ThermiTight device is placed in the very superficial layers of tissue so this should not interfere with an implant that is placed in the deep tissues along the surface of the bone.

There should not be a problem. The chin implant is silicone which is inert. The thermi can be done for the neck and jowls -- it depends on what you look like to know if this is the correct procedure for you. I would need to see you first to determine what is the best procedure.
