While it’s unclear from your post how long ago your initial surgery was, you’re likely still experiencing some swelling that will significantly impact your ability to see your final result. In the meantime, it’s possible that steroid injections can be administered to reduce some of the residual swelling you’re referring to.

If you consider a revision after your full recovery period, please note that each subsequent nose surgery becomes more complex due to loss of structural support, scar tissue, and other factors. The importance of experience, expertise, and artistry cannot be overstated. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to review your surgical history, oversee your recovery process, and answer any questions you may have.

Hello! Thanks for the questions. It depends on how long it's been since your surgery. Swelling can take over 12 months to finalize. In the meantime, I have patients tape and perform compressions. Sometimes, selective steroid injections can be useful. So, it is possible that you may see improvement over time. If not, a revision procedure may be needed to address the tip asymmetry and improve the contours. Hope this helps!
