How can I close my old lip ring hole? (Photo)

I want the depression and hope from my old lip piercing to go away. If I get a stitch in it will it heal closed? I have friends that said the hole never went away

Assuming that these are purely cosmetic areas of PIH, I would suggest using Melarase creams to improve pigmentation of the skin. The cause of the pigmentation should be assessed. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
