It appears that your keloid is fairly mature and sizable, so in my opinion, conservative measures such as ointments, compression therapy or silicone sheets are unlikely to work. To start conservatively I would recommend a steroid injection into the keloid to see if it helps soften or reduces the size. If there is no response to the steroid injection, you may need to seek a revision by surgically removing the keloid and following postoperative therapies to minimize the chance of recurrence.
