Will I see results with 1 vial of Kybella? (Photo)

Most patients require 3-4 treatments with Kybella. You have minimal submental fullness, so it is possible that one vial would produce a subtle change that you like. However, too  much Kybella can cause submental hollowing (the cobra deformity). Perhaps a better option is just to leave this area alone, since your have good jaw definition. You don’t need jaw-line filler either, based on your picture. Only use filler elsewhere if u feel those areas need it. Good luck. 

Hello! I would recommend saving your money for a more definitive procedure such as liposuction or even a chin implant. You have minimal fat and kybella typically takes 2-3 treatments for optimal effect. It is always best to plan for that, if you see no results with one treatment you will be disappointed.  Good luck!

Using just one vial of Kybella probably wouldn’t be enough to get you the results you want, even though you don’t have much fat to remove. If you have a limited budget, a chin augmentation with a filler might do a better job of defining your jawline. Also, dermatologists usually can work out payment plans and schedules that are compatible with your budget and needs. Consulting a board-certified dermatologist will help you come up with a plan to get the improvements you want when you can.

No, I don't think you'll get a good result with just one vial. Kybella take 1-3 treatments every 6 weeks.  Patient will develop swelling and possible bruising after each injection that may last a few days.  The benefit of Kybella is each treatment is quick and completed in the office. However, some patients need more than one treatment and 2-3 vials to get desired results.

Based on your photos, you don't appear to be a good candidate for this product. Speak with an expert injector that can discuss realistic goals with you. 

One vial will make a subtle improvement.Keep in mind, a combination approach would give the most improvement and most people need a series of treatments. Kybella, PDO Nova Threads, Ultherapy and/or ThermiRF treatments (Venus Legacy) are non-invasive options that would do well in combination for skin tightening. Thank you for your question!  Based on the photo that you have provided, I would agree that you are more of a mild case.  With that being said, we do generally recommend a minimum of 2 vials with Kybella to ensure that we cover the full surface area.  I recommend scheduling a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgery for an in person assessment and to discuss possible alternative options for improvement.

Thank you for your question! I am afraid that you won't see much difference after one vial and one treatment.  In addition, Kybella is very expensive and the vial costs the physician more than $500.  I would not have Kybella yet if you are only planning to have one vial and one treatment since it generally takes two or three treatments to see the best results. Best of luck!

Kybella is a great treatment for submental fat.  However, studies show the average treatment is 2-3 vials, 2-3 times.  If you are on a budget, Go get a price quote in person first.  Then, Id recommend putting money away each month until you have at least enough to cover the price for whatever the practitioner recommended you do.  You would not go to a surgeon and tell them to just do $500 worth of surgery, would you?   Don't waste the money either by just doing a little and then not being happy with it.  Then you will say "it didn't work" when really the issue was there wasn't enough used.  Good luck.
