I have generally very clear skin. These two holes are a result of acne from long ago.

Answer: Acne scars Because there is a void rather than a simple depression, you will need to approach is from multiple angles. A CO2 laser and TCA cross can help build collagen along the side walls of the depression. Bellafill injected underneath the depression will help to push it up to help fill it from below. It may take multiple treatments but it can be done.

Answer: Acne scarring Acne scars are caused by tissue loss in the area where acne used to be. Treatments that generate trauma, either directly or indirectly, are options to decrease their appearance and build up lost collagen. Depending on the downtime you are able to withstand, lasers such as CO2, Erb:YAG, or microneedling with RF (radiofrequency) are just a few options. These should be paired with a good skin care routine to encourage healing after the trauma (products with hyaluronic acid and ceramides). Good luck!

Answer: Holes on the forehead Fortunately there are many options for correction of the scars on your forehead. All repairs could be done in the clinic. Option include subcision (breaking up the scar tissue under the depression with a needle) followed by injection of a dermal filler, CO2 laser resurfacing with a filler or direct excision (cutting the scar out and sewing the edges together). The scars are small so I think any of the above options would give you an excellent result. I recommend consulting with an experienced plastic surgeon to make the decision best for you.

Answer: Many options but excision must be considered. There are many non surgical options to improve the scars already mentioned by other experts. Nothing wrong with trying them first. However, in good hands, a dermatologic or plastic surgeon can cut the scar out to offer you a great result in one step. Get an expert consultant to explain the pros and cons after an in person assessment.
