Thank you for your question. It could just be that you are experiencing some swelling following treatment and you should allow up to 2 weeks for this to go down. After this time you can then go back to your practitioner for a review and discuss a treatment plan moving forward.

First of all, relax. You are only five days following treatment and swelling from the treatment, which can lead to all kinds of distortions, itself may last for one to four weeks. So, the distortion you are now experiencing may simply be a temporary phenomenon that will resolve on its own. In general, for this reason, I typically suggest refraining from any treatments during this critical post-treatment period. It is of course possible that too much Voluma was injected (a whole cc for the small bump you describe does seems a bit too much). If after the month, the deformity remains, I would suggest dissolving the Voluma with hyaluronidase and having the nose retreated properly a short time later. In my NY practice, I prefer Restylane Lyft for this region, and in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved injectable fillers and volumizers are available, I would opt for Hyabell Deep. Make sure that you are consulting with a board certified aesthetic physician. Best of luck, and for now, try to relax..

Not everyone who requests a nonsurgical nosejob are candidates for this type of procedure. Based on your profile photo, you may have had the top of your bridge raised to the point where it looks too high, and your nose connects to your face at a higher location. I would not recommend more filler. If you could live with what you have now, you can wait till the product dissolves. Hyaluronidase injections to dissolve the HA may lead to irregularities, so you should discuss this with your doctor. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Five days is too early to tell whether or not the product should be dissolved.  I would suggest waiting at least three to four weeks before any other intervention.

You can have the filler dissolved using hyaluronidase if you want. I don't believe the answer is more filler to the nose.
